About
C.E. Albanese
C.E. Albanese spent more than twenty-five years in law enforcement, including a career as a U.S. Secret Service special agent, protecting people from fraud and violence. Now he writes thrillers about the threats men build for themselves. His stories run on guilt, judgment, and redemption — whether the setting is an 1870s counterfeiting ring or a machine that turns a man’s memory into a world he can’t escape.
He is the Grandmaster winner of the Clive Cussler Adventure Writers Competition and co-hosts “The Crew Reviews” podcast, interviewing today’s top storytellers. His short fiction and essays explore the same questions in a quieter register.
“Albanese delivers a unique and authentic glimpse into the U.S. Secret Service, providing a sense of realism and authenticity that is second to none…”
—Jack Carr,
#1 New York Times bestselling author
